Chocolate lovers, this one’s for you. The combination of cocoa powder and chocolate chips creates a smooth, fudgy flavor that won’t disappoint. Serve with a glass of cold milk!

INGREDIENTS:

big country cocoa powder

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Beat butter and sugars, until light and fluffy (about two minutes).
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
  • With the mixer on low speed, add flour mixture to butter mixture. While mixing, add in milk and mix until just barely combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and up to 2 days
  • Once ready to bake, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop 2 ½ tablespoons of dough (about 2.5 oz) and roll into balls. Place cookies on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper), spaced at least 2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 9-11 minutes and cool on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar to finish (I recommend using a sifter).
